About the event​

The Clinical Bioinformatics Day is an event specifically for bioinformaticians working in clinical laboratory settings across the Netherlands. The event brings together professionals to share knowledge with a strong focus on implementation, quality assurance, data management and workflow efficiency; the cornerstones of daily clinical bioinformatics practice.

The event addresses a recognised gap in the Dutch training landscape: most existing events are either focused on academic research results or tied to a specific clinical field where bioinformatics plays only a minor role. The Clinical Bioinformatics Day provides dedicated space for clinical  bioinformaticians to network, learn from each other, and develop the best analytical workflows for clinical data, ultimately contributing to improved patient care.
